Location is one of the many strengths of Woodclose Park and you will find plenty to see and do all within easy travelling distance of the Park such as Ingleton Falls, Wensleydale, White Scar Caves, the village of Hawes just some of the many places to visit.
Things to do Horse riding, Cycling and Walking routes, Fishing (Permits needed), Golf all within easy reach.

The River Lune & Devil’s Bridge
A short stroll from the Park you will find yourself beside the beautiful River Lune and the three ribbed medieval arches of Devil’s Bridge. The origin of the Bridge is obscure, but it has given rise to a legend that it was built by the devil in a pact with an elderly lady. Make the most of the areas many different walking and cycle routes, take a picnic or alternatively, if you would like to fish, visitor’s permits and licences are available locally.
Kirkby Lonsdale
No more than 15 minutes walk is the centre of the town with a good selection of award winning specialist shops, tearooms, restaurants and inns. Horse riding and Golf are nearby.

Our central location gives easy access to a vast array of attractions and things to do in the Yorkshire and Lake District National Parks.
Why not pay a visit to our parent company’s attractions, Ullswater ‘Steamers’ located just off junction 40 off the M6 and the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, on the West Coast.
