Kirkby Lonsdale Charter Market
Variety of local arts, crafts and produce from Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire - great opportunity to shop locally! The Country Market takes place on the same day at Lunesdale Hall between 10am and 12 noon and is also a great source of home-made goods.
Walks take place on the first and third Friday and Saturday of each month
Guided Vault Walks
Discover the rich cultural history and mysteries of Kirkby Lonsdale as you venture through the cobbled streets and secret ginnels with a local, trained guide. Walks start at 11.30 am. and last about 50 minutes. £5.00 for adults, under 16s free. Visit the information and gift shop for details.

Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway - Pie & Mash!
Hop aboard the La'al Ratty for an lovely evening train ride. Your ticket covers a round trip, starting at Ravenglass station, with pie and mash served upon arrival at Dalegarth station in Eskdale. Please note that a diesel locomotive is used for this journey.

Little Engineers' Day
Author Christopher Vine returns with a ‘behind the scenes’ visit to the railway, see the steam engine running shed, engineering workshop and signal box. Learn how a steam engine operates and enjoy a trip up the sidings on the footplate. Listen to Chris read his story ‘The Ghost Train’.

Santa's Grotto at Ingleborough Cave
Santa's elves will help you explore magical underground passages and lead you to a festive meeting with Santa and a table full of presents. Book your spot for selected dates in December.

Visit Santa at White Scar Cave
The cave will have a festive theme with special illuminations and effects. Father Christmas will be at his grotto at the cave entrance with presents for the children.
