Frequently asked questions

General
- What are your season dates?
We are open from the 1st March until the 2nd January.
- Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome on park. However, we ask that they are kept on a lead and that you use the dog bins provided. There is a maximum of two dogs per booking and only some of our glamping pods are dog-friendly, so please check upon booking.
- What time is check-in?
Tourers can check in from 1pm and glamping pods and Treetops from 3pm. If you are arriving after 5pm, please let us know.
- What time is check-out?
Check-out for touring is 12pm and for the glamping pods and Treetops, it's 10:30am.
- When is the reception open?
Reception is open from 9am - 5pm.
- What is the maximum group size that can book?
Group bookings must be kept to a maximum of three glamping pods or pitches.
- What is the cancellation policy?
If you’re cancelling within two weeks of arrival, you won’t be entitled to a refund. If you’re cancelling before the two weeks, you will be entitled to a full refund minus a £10 admin fee.
- How much will the deposit be?
The deposit to pay upon booking will be 25% of the full amount. If you are paying within two weeks before you arrive, you will need to pay the full amount upon booking.
- I’m bringing a baby, are there cots available?
We do have a travel cot available to hire in our self-catering units. However, we ask that you book in advance and bring your own bedding for it.
- Are there accessible facilities?

- Is there a washing machine on site?
We have a laundry room with two washing machines, two tumble dryers and an iron and ironing board. Treetops apartment also has an iron and ironing board.
- How far is it to walk to Kirkby Lonsdale?
Kirkby Lonsdale is a 10-15 minute walk from the park - we are just up the hill from Devil's Bridge.
- Is there good phone reception?
Yes, there is good phone reception on park.
- Can I bring a BBQ?
Small portable BBQs are available in the shop in reception.
- What measure have you put in place regarding COVID-19?
