General

  • What are your season dates?

Our glamping accommodation, self-catering apartment, and touring field are all available for holidays until 2 January 2026. We'll then close for a short winter break, preparing for our reopening in March.

  • Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are warmly welcomed at Woodclose Park! To ensure a happy stay for everyone, we kindly ask that all canine companions be kept on a lead while in the park and that you make use of the dog bins provided. We can accommodate a maximum of two dogs per booking. Just a heads-up: only some of our glamping accommodation is dog-friendly, so please confirm this when you book. While we strive to keep non-dog-friendly accommodation pet-free, please note we can't always guarantee a past guest hasn't brought a pet.

  • What time is check-in?

Tourers can check in from 1pm and glamping pods and Treetops from 3pm. If you are arriving after 5pm, please let us know.

  • What time is check-out?

Check-out for touring is 12pm and for the glamping pods and Treetops, it's 10:30am.

  • When is the reception open?

    Reception is open from 9am - 5pm.

  • What is the maximum group size that can book?

Group bookings must be kept to a maximum of three glamping pods or pitches.

Please refer to section 9 of our Booking Terms and Conditions.

  • How much will the deposit be?

Please refer to section 6 in our Booking Terms and Conditions.

  • I’m bringing a baby, are a travel cot and high chair provided?

Travel cots and high chairs are available to hire for £15 per item. If you require these, please add them upon booking. Subject to availability. Please be aware that a mattress and bedding for the travel cot are not included, so you will need to supply your own.

  • Are there accessible facilities?

Yes there are. We have a full accessibility guide page here.

  • Is there a washing machine on-site?

We have a handy laundry room available for all our guests. It's equipped with two washing machines, two tumble dryers, and even an iron and ironing board, so you can easily freshen up your clothes. Plus, for guests staying in Treetops, you'll find an iron and ironing board thoughtfully provided in your apartment.

  • Is Wi-Fi available?

Wi-Fi is provided by a third party and is available to purchase by connecting to the network and following the instructions. Connection and speed may be inconsistent and unreliable. Wi-Fi is for recreational use and not for business purposes. If you have any concerns, please contact us for details before confirming your booking.

  • Is there good phone reception?

Yes, there is good phone reception on park.

  • Can I bring a BBQ?

Yes! Alternatively, small portable BBQs are available to purchase in the shop/reception. If you're planning a BBQ and staying in a glamping pod, please use the brick structures provided right outside your pod — they're perfect for grilling! To protect our lovely grass, please don't light BBQs directly on it. Fancy a campfire? Fire pits can be hired from reception before 4.00pm.

  • How far is it to walk to Kirkby Lonsdale?

Kirkby Lonsdale is a 10-15 minute walk from the park - we are just up the hill from Devil's Bridge.
