The town of Kirkby Lonsdale is a just a short walk away over Devil's Bridge, while the famous Ingleton Falls and Whitescar Caves can be reached in under 20 minutes by car. Ingleton Waterfalls Trail

If you're a keen walker, then we recommend you follow the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. It runs along a footpath which passes by two rivers, and offers fabulous views of the Ingleton Waterfalls.

Ullswater 'Steamers'

Ullswater ‘Steamers’ is an award-winning, environmentally accredited attraction that is celebrating over 150 years of operating cruises on England’s most beautiful lake. Cruises connect to some of the most famous walking routes, including the Ullswater Way and the famous William Wordsworth daffodils at Glencoyne Bay.

Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway

The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway is one of the oldest and longest narrow gauge railways in England. The journey is from Ravenglass, the only coastal village in the Lake District National Park, across the estuary, through the hills to the final destination some seven miles up the line to Dalegarth for Boot Station.
